Bio
Howard Stutz has spent four decades in Las Vegas and is an award-winning journalist. He joined The Nevada Independent in May 2021 and covers the state’s gaming, tourism and sports business industries. Howard spent more than 16 years covering gaming for the Las Vegas Review-Journal.
He was part of the Review-Journal team that earned the James Foley Medill Medal for Courage in Journalism from Northwestern University.
