Peter Dropick

Peter Dropick serves as Executive Vice President, Event Development and Operations for TKO, in which he is responsible for all aspects of staging the full schedule of more than 300 UFC and WWE live events, representing one of the strongest live event portfolios in all of sports and entertainment.

In this role, Dropick leads the TKO Live Events Strategy Team, which drives revenue growth strategies across key areas, including live event development and scheduling, tourism incentive programs, ticketing, and fan experiences. He also works closely with UFC and WWE leadership, including UFC President and CEO Dana White and WWE Chief Content Officer Paul Levesque, to leverage the massive global popularity of UFC and WWE to serve the respective fan bases and to continue to grow their live events business domestically and internationally.

Prior to being elevated to his current position in May 2024, Dropick served as Executive Vice President, Event Development and Operations for UFC, in which he was responsible for the strategic planning for UFC’s 42+ annual live events, including scheduling, revenue generation, budget planning and management, event marketing, and venue and government negotiations.

In his career with UFC, Dropick played an important role in driving UFC’s industry leading live event success for nearly two decades, and he was a pivotal member of the senior executive team that led UFC to five consecutive years of record revenue from 2019 to 2023.

During the global pandemic from 2020-2021, he played a crucial part in developing action plans for UFC to continue to hold live events safely and responsibly, both in the U.S. and internationally. As a result, UFC was the first major professional sports organization in the U.S. to resume live events following global shutdowns, and the subsequent staging of UFC FIGHT ISLAND in Abu Dhabi captured the imagination of sports fans everywhere.
Dropick joined UFC in 2006 as Vice President of Event Operations & Production for WEC, a sister organization to UFC, where he oversaw all business operations and television production. He was also responsible for the day-to-day operations of Strikeforce.

Prior to joining UFC, Dropick was Director of Event Development at Honda Center in Anaheim, Calif.. where he was responsible for developing and managing Honda Center’s owned and operated properties, including the annual John R. Wooden Classic college basketball doubleheader, NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Tournament, World Badminton Championships, US Olympic Gymnastics Trials, World Gymnastics Championships and National Lacrosse League’s Anaheim Storm.

Earlier in his career, Dropick was Director of Operations for Atherton Communications, LP, a sports marketing agency that founded the Wooden Classic and Wooden Tradition. He began his career as an Operations Assistant for the 1994 FIFA World Cup.

Dropick has participated in numerous civic and non-profit organizations, including serving on the Las Vegas Super Bowl Host Committee and Southern Nevada Sporting Events Committee. Previously, he led the Special Olympics Southern California Planning Committee for the Wooden Classic and served on the grant evaluation committee for the Anaheim Ducks Foundation.

Dropick holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the Maxwell School of Citizenship & Public Affairs at Syracuse University.
