Julie Friedman

Julie Friedman recently began her 14th season with the NBA. During her tenure, she has managed all stages of hospitality and VIP experiences for NBA, WNBA, GLeague and USA Basketball partners across 15+ global and domestic events annually. Julie oversees the holistic hospitality process for NBA partners including event communication, hotel accommodations, planning sponsor events, player appearances, ticketing, VIP seating, etc.

In her current role, Friedman develops strategic programs around the NBA calendar to engage partners and prospects with the NBA by creating interesting events with compelling content and experiences. Amongst many things, she serves as internal liaison and point-person for all Global Partnerships hospitality and event planning and manages the league’s corporate gifting/premium merchandise programs.

A Philadelphia native and graduate of Syracuse University with a bachelor’s degree in sport management. Friedman currently resides in Westfield, NJ with her husband and two daughters.
