George Chatigny

George Chatigny has spent a lifetime involved in the equine industry, both personally and professionally, in a myriad of capacities. He brings his unique talents and expertise in the breed and western disciplines, serving as a show manager, stewarding official, events director, general manager, executive administrator, consultant, and committee member of local, regional, and national equestrian organizations.

Most recently, George was the Executive Administrator for the League of Agricultural & Equine Centers, a national organization of equestrian facility managers, where he executive-producedthe League’s highlighted annual symposium and footing academy in February of 2023 and January of 2024.

From 2000 to 2021, he served as General Manager of the 75-acre Los Angeles Equestrian Center, one of the largest and most prestigious boarding and horse show equestrian centers in the United States. Prior to that, he was an events manager for both equestrian and non-equestrian events at LAEC from 1983 until he was appointed General Manager of the entire facility in 2000.

He is a US Equestrian Federation (USEF) Licensed C-1 Steward and Federation Equestre Internationale (FEI) Level 3 Steward–Jumping, officiating at many notable events including the World Equestrian Games–Jumping, World Cup Jumping Finals, Arabian Nationals, and the FEI Children’s World Jumping Finals. He is a past instructor for USEF C-1 Stewarding clinics as well as the USEF Dressage Measurement certification program.

George has provided consulting services for both private and public boarding facilities located in California and Nevada.

He has served as an official, director, or committee member of local, regional, and National equestrian organizations, including:
